After you install OpenedYet for Chrome, it needs to know which OpenedYet account your tracked emails belong to. Connecting takes a few seconds and only happens once per Gmail address.
How to connect
- Open Gmail in Chrome. OpenedYet shows a prompt to connect. You can also click the OpenedYet icon in the toolbar.
- A tab opens on openedyet.com. Sign in with Google, or ask for a sign-in link by email.
- Check the address shown — “Connect OpenedYet to you@example.com” — and click Connect.
- Head back to Gmail. You’re ready to send tracked emails.
What signing in with Google shares
Only your basic profile: your name, email address and profile picture. OpenedYet never asks for access to your inbox, contacts or Google Drive. The extension works inside the Gmail page in your browser, so your emails don’t pass through our servers.
“This Gmail address doesn’t match”
The OpenedYet account you’re signed in to must use the same address as the Gmail account you’re connecting. If they differ, log out on openedyet.com, then sign in again with the right address.
Still not connected?
- Reload Gmail after connecting.
- Make sure the extension is turned on at
chrome://extensions. - Some privacy or ad-blocking extensions block openedyet.com. If you use one, allow openedyet.com and try again.
