Cookie policy
Short version: we use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies — and that’s why there’s no cookie banner.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They can be used to remember who you are between pages — or to follow you around the web. We only do the first.
The cookie we use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
oy_session |
Keeps you signed in to openedyet.com and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. | Essential, first-party, secure and HTTP-only | Up to 30 days, or until you log out |
Because this cookie is strictly necessary for the website to work, it doesn’t need your consent. If you block it, you can still read our website, but you won’t be able to sign in.
What we don’t use
- No analytics cookies (we don’t use Google Analytics or similar tools).
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No social media pixels or third-party trackers on our website.
Tracked emails don’t set cookies
The invisible image in a tracked email doesn’t set or read cookies on the recipient’s device. Read more on our page for recipients.
Third-party pages
When you pay, you’re taken to Stripe’s secure checkout, and if you sign in with Google, you use Google’s sign-in page. Those pages are run by Stripe and Google and use their own cookies, described in their privacy policies.
OpenedYet for Chrome
The extension stores its connection token and your preferences in Chrome’s built-in extension storage on your computer. This isn’t a cookie and isn’t shared with other websites. Removing the extension deletes it.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Questions? Email support@openedyet.com or read our privacy policy.
